Two ways on.
Both faster than a sales call.

Pulley only helps you move to Carta. Here, exporting your data is the only part that's on you.

AI-native.Not MCP-connected.

A connector hands your data to a model somewhere else. Your Equity Agent lives inside EquityList, reading your documents, applying your plan rules, and computing from your live register without routing through an outside connection.

Reads your documents

Plan rules, board resolutions, offer letters: the agent reads every document you give it, not just the ledger.

Enforces your guardrails

Understands your plan rules and applies them as constraints, so it can't draft a grant that violates your scheme.

Runs on a schedule

Can flag things like vesting dates, lapsing exercise windows or unsigned documents, among others, then runs the clawback or sends the alert automatically.

Ask: “How much of the option pool is left?”

Nothing to ask. Export a CSV and work it out by hand

Same question. Only one keeps your register and documents inside.

Built for where YC companies actually end up.

Multi-entity register

One register, every entity. Not three accounts.

A few platforms support multiple entities. Fewer support multi-currency grants, and some countries aren't covered at all. EquityList supports all three, in one register.

Multi-currency grants

Multi-currency, multi-class. In one place.

A grant in INR and a grant in USD, across different share classes, don't need separate systems to track. They live in the same register, valued and reported together.

Cross-entity reporting

Cross-entity reporting. No manual exports.

The consolidated view across every entity is generated straight from the live register, not assembled by hand from exports pulled out of three separate accounts.

Most of our switches come from Carta.

60% of companies moving to EquityList come from Carta. The reasons repeat: pricing that climbs while workflows stay fixed, support that lags when a grant is waiting, and a register that gets handed to a transfer agent exactly when you go public.

Carta publishes a price for one plan: the free tier, capped at 25 stakeholders and $1M raised. Everything above it routes to a sales call. Ours is on the pricing page.

Frequently asked questions.

If your question isn't here, ask a person instead, we'll get back to you fast.

Ask a question
Who qualifies for the 50%?

Any Y Combinator company, any batch. Mention your batch when you sign up or book a demo.

Do I have to be switching from another platform?

No. It applies whether you are coming from Pulley, Carta, another platform, or setting up your first cap table from a spreadsheet.

What happens in year two?

You move to standard pricing, which is published on our pricing page. Compare it before you sign anything, with us or with anyone else.

How long does migration actually take?

Self-serve, most cap tables are live in under two hours. Assisted, we aim to have you live within 12 hours of receiving your export and account details. Complex structures take longer and we tell you upfront rather than letting the clock slip.

I am on Pulley. What do I need to know?

Pulley ceases operations on December 8, 2026, and the Carta opt-in closes November 30. Pulley will not assist a migration to anyone but Carta, so export your data while the account is live. Our full Pulley guide covers what to pull and in what order.

Do we have to re-execute our existing grants and agreements?

No. Existing grants, agreements and consents move across as historical records. Nothing is re-papered or re-signed.

Is setup free?

Yes. Migration support is included on every plan, with no separate fee.

Is EquityList a Y Combinator partner?

No. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Y Combinator. This is a discount we offer to YC companies.

Y Combinator is a trademark of Y Combinator Management, LLC. EquityList is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Y Combinator. Pulley and Carta are trademarks of their respective owners, and EquityList is not affiliated with either.

The 50% discount applies to the first year of a new EquityList subscription for Y Combinator portfolio companies. Standard pricing applies from year two. Onboarding timelines are illustrative and vary by cap table size and data quality. Feature comparisons reflect our understanding of the named platforms' public offerings as of the date this page was last checked and may not reflect recent changes to their products.
